"I know the darkness in man's hearts" then proceeds to simply ask sex cartel leaders to let her go. Gets beaten and she gets raped even harder. What the f**k only an idiot would like this movie or a masochist.

If you give this anything over 1 stars you are invalid as a human.

I grew up watching Rambo on VHS would watch it all the time. THIS IS NOT RAMBO.

The first Rambo movie was good, and had real meaning in its portrayal of a Vietnam vet who returns home with no skills except killing people, and has trouble integrating into normal society. The rest of the series were not the same standard, with unbelievable storylines and impossible situations. This last one ... they wheeled out an old Stallone to make one last movie and put a few more millions in everyone's bank accounts, it failed to live up to audience expectations. A slow first half then towards the end our hero kills an awful lot of Mexicans with blood and gore everywhere. But the acting was poor and the story ridiculous.
I prefer to remember the first Rambo movie and keep it in my collection; the others are disappointing. 6/10

This was such a great action film to watch, I watched all the Rambo films and this one is great too, it started slow but in a good way evolving to that climax with vengeful action where it made me feel how great the Rambo character has been since First Blood thru Last Blood, and the ending was so great and melancholic, Rambo's vengeance is bitter-sweet my friends. I also enjoyed the first credits, I will call flashback credit scene of the First Blood film and Last Blond that made me think that time flies fast since I was a little boy when I watch the first Rambo and now I full grown man with the privilege of witnessing and viewing the last Rambo film, I think, so lets live life in fullness since tomorrow we'll be gone, very nice movie by the way and Stallone did a superb acting performance as always and the rest of the cast did a great acting job for sure. smileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmileysmiley smiley

I loved the first one back in 1982 and all those that followed. I thought that they ended the Rambo series on a good note. This film was loaded with action, blood, guts and gore. And it had to have a great hook and they did that by pulling at the heart strings. It took 37 years to bring it all to an end and Stallone pulled it off great. I am sad to see it all go really but I can always go back to the beginning and watch it all over again.

It takes a long time to get going and then it's balls to the wall thereafter. Very violent which I loved but that doesn't make up for the weak and already done to death storyline. And yes... you will get your preparation for the baddies montage, like always. The copy I just watched was of excellent sound and visual quality and had good subs for the non English parts. A strong 6/10

If you're watching this movie; you know what you're in for. It's goddam Rambo!!!
This movie was a fitting end for the Rambo legacy. Nothing new to see here, but more of that classic Rambo we've come to expect and love!

And to think; only two characters died in First Blood; and here we are. Blood, guts, viscera, grey matter galore!! Still fun. haha
I love seeing how creative Rambo USED to get with traps. Now it's all about that sweet sweet VENGEANCE! Make it hurt as much as possible. Fuck yeah!

I'm surprised I didn't hate this movie as much as I would have expected to. Yes its political agenda is questionable, its violence often even more so and he (Sly and John Rambo) seems to be losing the ability to speak more and more. I had difficulty understanding his dialogue... BUT, that said, it's a surprisingly slow movie that tries to be a little more than just a hack'n'slay piece. The last half hour is pretty much how to make meat loaf of your enemies, though. It really is just a shadow of former glory and it doesn't help much that Stallone has done MUCH worse films. FIRST BLOOD was a valuable, even important movie about an american trauma and its manifestation in US society. There's nothing left of that now. Just a revenge piece with a lot of Western tropes and a lot of blood. The broken 'hero' makes it a little more palatable.
The Rocky style 'How to prepare a farm for a siege' montage is fun. I hope he does another film so John can fight Satan or Cthul'hu or someone ...

nope nope nope, the "acting" is horrendous, and the action amounts to all of about the last 15 minutes (which is granted awesome)

In my opinion I did not like the movie Sylvester Stallone is already old for this type of movies would have to be dedicated to make other types of movies that go more for their age

It's a bit of a slow start compared to the other Rambo films but the 3rd act makes it all worth while...lots of chaos & action, plus I love the fact he has an old school approach to new school tactics.
John Wick might be a Badass, but John Rambo is a force to be reckoned with!

I remember the Rambo movies, that were about an ex-military expert whom is on a rampage, killing off bad guys. This isn't exactly like the original movies. What is needed though, is the stopping of the abduction, rape, torture and prostituting of innocent young ladies, and not just in South America. The movie could of been better, but with the story-line as it was, the movie was produced to tell a story and to make a point.

I'm a lifelong Stallone fan. Rambo First Blood Part 2 was one of the first movies I ever remember watching as a young girl and holy crap, I was HOOKED. For a fan, this is a glorious end to an era. It was appropriately gorey and filled with the kind of brutality that one expects from a Rambo film. If you're a fan of the franchise you're going to love it. If you're new - go watch all the others and work your way up to it. It was absolute perfection.

I've never been a Sly fan, particularly not as Rambo. The reason I watched this film was because of all the sjw-noize it generated. In the last couple of years I've adopted a new rule-of-thumb to my discernment toolbox - if TWATTER hates it, I'm going to make a point of seeing it.
The review practically writes itself : it's an action film. It's a Rambo action film. It does what it says on the tin !
You don't get any deep and meaningful dialogue, no heart wrenching soliloquy, no political agenda or pandering.....you do however get great cinematography and framing, great scene lighting (especially in the
,, an anti-hero you feel no shame for supporting, quick fire intense action and the soundtrack compliments the film perfectly.
This wouldn't be my first choice movie as I've other interests but at the end I thoroughly enjoyed it, Bourne out by the fact I hardly noticed an hour and a half had passed.
I recommend this to all and especially to those who enjoy the action genre the way it SHOULD (and used) to be,

That's how we know Rambo, interesting but not a new storyline, you'll soon know what's all about and missing subs, except a few, didn't help but worth to watch it when a better copy comes out, 5/10,

Actually a very good copy to watch shame it doesn’t show the subtitles and thus hard to understand. The last 30 mins is what the Rambo chain is all about.

Is it me or is everything that sly makes nowadays is just sub par? Must need the dollars real bad. This one is nowhere near as good as previous rambos with 1 2 n 3 being the best. This is 6/10 that’s mostly due to the awesome gruesome killings fantastic kills.

It must have taken place on a public holiday as no coppers, sheriff or what ever you wanna call them to be seen!

6/10 that I just love the western movies so much, and Rambo is the drama scene for the first time that I have a huge actor crush, and it was so scary that people just screamed once.

<*spoile r alert* No cops anywhere, murder and mayhem.. head rolling on highway
Doesn't say much for the US Border when bad guys come across the border in Mercedes SUVs with lots of machine guns. Explosions in Arizona on a ranch and no Sheriffs anywhere in the film. A nice story if it had been told in English over the first 70 mins was in Spanish and a snooze leading up to the action the last 15 mins. What about leaving and unlocked Truck unattended in Mexico with the windows down. Not a cinder block anywhere and it just turns up in the garage. Last I check road pit crews could strip a vehicle in 8 minutes in Detroit. In Mexico where nobody cares it would not stand a chance.
How about the Rambo with bullet holes middle age and post traumatic stress, can you tell me John where are all your booby-traps are set in the dark, no less. All that fire power and not one bullet proof vest for anyone not even himself. Good thing he is protecting his ranch. Does the "Stand Your Ground Rule" apply if you start the trail with a decapitation and roll it down the highway.

For those who have forgotten the old rule in all cultures I have met, "Respect your Elders", because Rambo just won't stop. Wow, I'm almost glad I saw this film on this format, because it was almost like the gore was censored a bit. Talk about some gruesome endings.

The problem at hand develops before the middle of the film, and then it boils down into action packed evil retribution. There is enough Spanish, so si yo non hablo espagnol, you probably want some subtitles, although, this being an action film, it is not like they are explaining quantum physics.

Enjoyable and worth seeing in the theatre. If I had wrote it, there would have been a long boring extra hour of torture, so that's a good thing.

A very good finale to the Rambo chain. Not for the squeamish, some rather bloody segments involved, and John Rambo is at his best and worse when a family member he loves like a daughter,
